Scottish Rite Cathedral Wedding: Jessica & Raul

Published On: September 17, 2018Categories: Scottish Rite Cathedral, Wedding

Imagine, you enjoy a memorable wedding reception filled with love and laughter – but your sweet tooth kicks in and its time for cake. Instead of just any ordinary slice of wedding cake, you’re greeted by a buffet of cupcakes! It’s hard not to love! Jessica and Raul had a small cake to cut, but their cupcakes are what they and their guests enjoyed.

It was an all-day affair at Scottish Rite Cathedral for the bride, groom and their wedding party. They began on-site by preparing for the wedding ceremony. The men busied themselves playing pool while the ladies had their hair and makeup done in the bridal suite. Both spaces are perfect for getting ready and relaxing in.

Jessica and Raul exchanged vows in the theatre, against its ceremony backdrop. Gold chiavari chairs are included with use of the space which helps to create the perfect ceremony look. The same chairs are available in the ballroom where the couple celebrated their reception. Following their ceremony, cocktail hour was held the balcony of the ballroom before guests were seated on the ballroom’s main level. Not many know, but the ballroom floor at Scottish Rite Cathedral is one of the few true floating ballroom floors in the United States! It was made for dancing!
