2016 U.S. Mayor’s Conference at Palladium
If you paid attention to any Indianapolis news station over the course of last week and throughout the weekend, you’d be well-informed to know the U.S. Mayor’s Conference descended upon our city with many other events. If you had the opportunity to head downtown, you know our city was hopping with activity. From visits by the Dali Lama and Lady Gaga, to concerts at White River State Park, the annual Indiana Market Festival at Eiteljorg Museum, U.S.A. Diving trials, and an appearance by Justin Bieber – Indianapolis was the place to be.
In fact, we were all over the city catering to nearly 4,000 guests! It wasn’t our busiest weekend to date, but it was up there.
However, the talk of the town was certainly the U.S. Mayor’s Conference. Carmel’s own mayor, James Brianard, hosted all of the mayor’s at The Center for Performing Arts in Carmel on June 24th. At this welcome event, 1100 guests had the opportunity to enjoy Indiana farm-to-table cuisine, take in a private concert by Michael Feinstein, the multi-platinum-selling, two-time Emmy and five-time Grammy Aware nominated entertainer, dubbed “The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook”, and enjoy live Cirque du Soleil inspired acrobatics.
Due to the size of the event, more space than what the Palladium could provide was needed to host the event. Tents were used to provide additional event space outside of the Palladium where a variety of food stations were set for guests to enjoy Indiana favorites such as pork tenderloin sliders and local Indiana cheeses.

Once we arrived at the Palladium, we hit the ground running – setting to work and staying busy until the last guest left. With so much activity and responsibility to ensure this event was a success, we didn’t have the time to take the photos we wanted to. However, we look forward to receiving more photos from the event in the near future from the event photographer. When we do, we will be sure to share them with you!
