Valerie + Matthew at Eiteljorg
To say Clowes Sculpture Court at the EIteljorg Museum was anything short of gorgeous for Valerie and Matthew’s fall wedding would be doing a disservice to the planning and detail they put forth for this very special day.
While we believe that every wedding is unique, Valerie and Matthew’s wedding gave us a new opportunity to provide a completely unique room setup for their Downtown Indianapolis wedding. This was the first opportunity we had to create sundial seating for a wedding – and it was stunning! Five long tables were positioned like rays fanning out to the corners of the room, anchored in the middle by their wedding cake – three tiers dressed in delicate pink roses and pearls.
Even their escort card table was set up to mimic the look of the room by placing the escort cards around a tall mixed floral centerpiece. Every place setting was marked with their guests’ name and noted their dinner entrée selection. (Read more about escort cards and place cards here!)
Gold chiavari charis, silver linen, white Martha Stewart napkin folds, and low white and green floral completed the details of their elegant wedding look. From cocktail hour through the end of the reception, their personal choices from menu to timeline to music were radiating with their love for one another.

Their event specialist, Heidi Melton, shared a moment about the reception, “Jeff, our Eitlejorg café and event manager, folded the napkins on the cake table into roses for Valerie and Matthew to give it an extra special touch. Even though they hadn’t thought of or asked for this- Valerie loved it!”
To end the evening with a bang, Valerie and Matthew set off into the night by walking through an aisle of sparklers, flanked on either side by their closest friend and family. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together!
