Lisa and Don’s February wedding was on point in the décor world. Opting to theme their wedding around black and white stripes – every element was presented with complete grace and ultimate fashion. Suffice to say, they had a specific vision in mind and went after it.

Canal Overlook Bridge played host to their intimate wedding ceremony, with Rapp Reception Hall being the space for celebration immediately following. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour at small seated and standing tables covered in black linen, topped with black and white striped table runners and overlays. The look continued on to their dining table with a large striped table runner, striped napkins, and cleverly color themed guest favors and floral continuing their play on the colors of the event.

And yes, you read that correctly. Dining table, as in one. While many couples have multiple circular tables to seat their guests, Lisa and Don choose to celebrate with all their friends and family simultaneously at one long, large table that everyone could gather around. Guests drank, dined and danced throughout Rapp Reception Hall and finished off the fun with a sweet treat at the candy bar to take home with them (along with their special Jones sodas!)

If you have been to the Indiana State Museum, you may have taken witness to the many picturesque locations both in and outside of the museum. Lisa and Don’s intimate wedding used one area, the Pendulam stairs, to their advantage. Between cocktail hour and dinner, guests gathered on the Pendulum stairs for a group photograph, immortalizing for Lisa and Don everyone in attendance to celebrate with them that day. They even snuck in a romantic photo of just themselves in the same spot… Congratulations to the newlyweds!
