Megan + Keith, Eiteljorg Wedding

This wedding was flawless. Every detail was carefully planned and brought out the natural beauty of Eiteljorg’s beautiful ceremony and reception space, but was also everything that Megan and Keith had envisioned for their wedding day. Which makes it even better! From the moment they shared their first look before the ceremony, it was clear to see that this day was going to be one of complete joy. Captured by Nathaniel Edmunds Photography, we are excited to share with you and relive this special day through photographs.

Megan and Keith looked stunning. Megan’s smile was non-stop the entire day and Keith continually stole glances at his beautiful bride. Taking part in the growing tradition of first looks, Megan and Keith had a private moment together before the hustle and bustle of the day. A first look is a special time between a couple when they see one another prior to the ceremony to take in one another’s joy and beauty on their wedding day. Often times the first look is captured by a photographer to make the memories last a lifetime in print. Megan and Keith met with their bridal party soon after to take bridal party portraits prior to their ceremony and reception so that they could spend time with their guests and enjoy cocktail hour later in the day.

Their wedding began in Eagle Commons where Megan and Keith exchanged vows, shared their first kiss as husband and wife, and were met with celebration by friends and family. Staying within the Eagle Commons space both Megan, Keith and their guests moved to cocktail hour, which was set right behind their ceremony. An open bar was available for guests to enjoy as well as butler passed hot and cold hors d’oeuvres.

After taking time to mingle and greet their guests, everyone moved to Clowes Sculpture Court to find their seats. The reception began with a welcome speech and blessing prior to the cake cutting and dinner. As guests and the couple finished their meals both the best man and maid of honor gave toasts honoring the bride and groom. Even though Megan and Keith cut a small cake earlier in the evening, assorted mini-cupcakes were selected in place of a typical cake slice. They had a great and incredibly tasty assortment!

First Course
Romaine with romato tomato relish, avocado, sunflower seeds, smoked cheddar and creamy avocado dressing
Served with assorted rolls, flatbreads, French butter and herb sun-dried tomato butter

Second Course
Spice rubbed seared chicken breast with sweet pomegranate reduction
Parmesan risotto with wild mushrooms
Haricot vert with stem on carrots

Third Course
Assorted Cupcakes
Chocolate cake with salted caramel and chocolate buttercream
Chocolate cake with Nutella and hazelnut buttercream
Lemon cake with raspberry filling and lemon buttercream
Vanilla cake with caramel filling and malted vanilla buttercream
Almond cake with almond cream filling and apricot buttercream

With excitement towards a new life growing as the evening progressed, Megan and David shared their first dance and took to partying with their guests as the DJ played popular tracks and the couples’ favorite songs.
