Wells Fargo Enjoys WestFest at Eiteljorg Museum
Throw on your spurs and ten gallon hat! This summer’s Eiteljorg Museum WestFest took people back in time to the days of the Wild West, right here in Indianapolis. Each year the museum hosts this great event loaded with activities and perfect for families of any age. With the sights, sounds, and smells of the American West, everyone who attended was treated to a unique cultural experience.
From cow milking to barrel racing and herding, guests were able to take part in many activities often found the days of the Old West. In addition, a real stagecoach, identical to those used many years ago, was parked on the Eiteljorg property for guests to take photos with. Earlier in the day the stagecoach made its way from Circle Center to the Eiteljorg pulled by several horses.
Several took part in leather demonstrations, wester films, photographing themselves with wanted posters, making a mustache, and viewing the GOLD! Riches and Ruin exhibit.
GOLD! Riches and Ruins was sponsored by Wells Fargo and they enjoyed a private evening of WestFest fun at the Canal level of Eiteljorg Museum. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvre displays featuring hot and cold options, a carving station, desserts and our Conniseur Club bar of premium beverage brands.
