With Indianapolis being the home of the Indianapolis 500, it’s only fitting that as a city we welcome the Dream Cars exhibit to Indianapolis Museum of Art with fanfare and appreciation. From now until August 23rd, Indianapolis plays host to this unique exhibit featuring rare concept cars from the early 1930s to the 21st century. Guests of the museum have the opportunity to view conceptual drawings, scale models, and explore the evolution of revolutionary automobile design. Not only have these designs pushed the boundaries of traditional automobile design, they challenged the imagination and helped shape the future of the industry.

As the catering partner of the Indianapolis Museum of Art we have the privilege of working with them to create masterpieces with each event we collaborate on. The press opening of Dream Cars was no different. Pulliam Family Great Hall, a prominently well-known feature of the IMA, was transformed into the reception space for this press event where the official ribbon cutting of the exhibit took place.

Bistro lights were strung overhead while small seated cocktail tables were sprinkled around the floor. A duet featuring a vocalist and pianist nestled into the corner for guests to enjoy while also sampling hors d’oeuvres and libations.

The exhibit opened to much awe and admiration from those in attendance. Dream Cars is the perfect experience for any automobile enthusiasts. Keep up to date on the latest from all the Dream Cars events we are catering by visiting us on Facebook.
